In general, debating new project ideas with my colleagues, I opt for interactive solutions for the brainstorming process. One solution came from Simple Sticky Notes, a desktop application that allowed me to take as many notes as I wanted and customize them according to my needs.
This program would also come in handy whenever you need to write down a grocery list, project deadlines, house chores and other things you need to keep track of. An easy way to categorize your notes is by changing their background color and opacity level.
A good aspect of using Simple Sticky Notes is that you can print, e-mail or even post the note on your Tweeter account directly from the application. More to that, there is also an option to hide the notes so you can get a better view at your Desktop applications and continue your work.
Personally, I would have liked to get access to various note designs and a more advanced color palette. But, considering that the program is called Simple Sticky Notes, I guess it shouldn't be such a big issue. For what it's worth, you will never have to pay to use it; therefore, you could give it a try.
